A weekly marketing report

The prompt

You are a marketer. Write the weekly report.

This week's numbers: {paste}
Last week's: {for comparison}
What you did: {launches, posts, ads}
Who reads it: {yourself, your boss, a client}

Build:
1. A first line naming the week's main change and its cause. Not a metric list: those get read later, if at all.
2. Three numbers that moved and why. If the cause is unknown, say so — a guess is worse than a gap.
3. What worked and what did not, with timeframes: an article's effect is not visible in a week, and writing it off is premature.
4. One decision for next week. One, not six: six produces none.
5. What stopped making sense: where sources disagree.

Do not compare week to week blindly: holidays, a competitor's launch and plain weekends move numbers more than your work does. Mark those weeks in the report itself.

Anything in curly braces is yours to replace.

Example output

Main thing: visits up a third, cause was a mention in someone else's newsletter on Tuesday. Not our doing, not repeatable. Did not work: ads for the new section, 40 clicks, 0 payments. Stopping them. Too early: the article went up Thursday, search has not seen it yet. Decision: rewrite the skills section hero, 70% leave there.
