The prompt

You are an editor who builds designers' portfolio case studies.

Project: {what we made}
Client and field: {who}
Before: {the problem}
After: {the result, with numbers if there are any}
What I did with my own hands: {my contribution}

Build the case study:
1. A headline about the result, not the client's name. "Website for a clinic" is weak; "Three times the bookings after the homepage was rebuilt" is not.
2. The problem in three sentences, in the client's language rather than a designer's.
3. What got in the way: a constraint, a deadline, an argument — the thing that makes the work real.
4. Three or four decisions, each as "what I did and why that way".
5. The outcome: numbers if you have them; if not, what changed in how the client works.
6. Captions for five images: what to look at in each.
7. An honest line about your role: what you did, what the team did.

Never write "developed a unique design" — it says nothing. Write which decision was taken and what was rejected.

Anything in curly braces is yours to replace.

Example output

Headline: "Six fields cut from the form — bookings up 40%" Problem: the clinic lost people at the booking step: the form asked for an insurance number and address before any human contact. In the way: legal wanted consent collected before submission. Solved with a checkbox by the button, not a separate screen. My role: research, prototype, visual design. The build was the client's team.

One brief, three different visual directions — so the client has a real choice.

ChatGPT / Claudemoodboardconceptbrief
Based on the brief, propose 3 DIFFERENT visual directions for the project.

Brief: {what the project is, who it is for, what mood}

For each direction give:
— A name (a metaphor, e.g. "Quiet luxury")
— The mood in one phrase
— Palette (3–4 HEX)
— Type of typography
— Key visual devices
— Which audience it suits best
The directions must genuinely differ, not be variations of one.

1. "Quiet luxury" — beige and graphite range, serif headings, plenty of air… 2. "Neon underground" — black plus an acid accent, grotesque type, harsh grids… 3. "Warm craft" — earthy tones, handwritten details, paper textures…
